• The first step is to obtain current foreclosure data from a local foreclosure data service in a dBase or Comma Delimited format.
• If a preset Import Specification is available below for your foreclosure data source and area, click on the Import Specification file indicated to the right of the appropriate data source and area.
• This will initiate a download of that file to your computer.  When asked save the file to disk.  Then select the location to save it to.  We recommend your Desktop for an easy to find location. Remember where the file has been downloaded to and the file name.
• Then open the Shark Bait program and click on the Imports button on the main Switchboard.
• Then click on the Preset Specs. button on the Data Import Form. This will open a form explaining the above information.  
• Then Click on the Continue button.
• Then navigate using the Windows file browser to locate the file you downloaded from this website, e.g. find your Desktop, then the file you downloaded.
• Highlight the file, then click the Open button.
• This will initiate the import specification analysis and create a new Import Specification listing in Step 1: Create or Select An Import Field Name Mapping Specification box.
